Facelift

Here we go again! Another change of template, another rebuild of the website, another shot of creating a blog. I've been there so many times and I've come again. Let's see what's different this time

A new original visual style

I struggled for a long time for a visually pleasing and original theme that would represent my own style. Therefore building the site on themes that didn't suite me properly was always kinda boring and I didn't feel the vibe. Therefore losing interest in developing the idea further and losing drive to write articles. This time the new style matches exactly what I wanted to represent when opening my personal web for the first time and when coming back later! Now I know for sure this is the theme, because the amount of content I was able to produce retrospectively for this blog to have at least some content is the biggest than ever before.

I also decided to keep everything oriented to english language, because for some reason, I am able to transform my thoughts more precisely and more creatively into text this way. I struggle with procrastination all the time, combating every urge to waste my time on irelevant things watching YouTube or scrolling through FB. So my constant war looking for ways to avoid dooming myself consuming socials to kill my precious time doing nonproductive things too much is still there, but now I have yet another tool to think about when I meet the decision of "Do I open up the FB or do I.." again.

This time, I completely disregarded any kind of catalogue or category listing as I wanted to keep this open minded to every possible direction and bring my own personality into this. I value open mind very much - yet not in traditional sense. I like to think about stuff from all the possible angles, seeing value from different sides and looking for the most neutral (or unbiased) understanding of everything. My wife doesn't get me and I am not really capable of explaining this to others, but lately I found myself likening me to Rick from the popular animated show and that we'd have really close way of thinking. Without the I-don't-care damage inducing behaviour that is. Simply said, this blog won't have commonly found categories of posts that you can find everywhere else. Rather I will build some kind of automated system that will let you search through common "subjects" that you can see above the titles of the posts on the main board.

My aim right now is to finish building the basic systems for this blog - search engine, automated systems, subscriber e-mails and others. To let you consume my content as simply as possible.

Future content

I cannot really think ahead of time and predict what kind of content I will produce in the future. But I am constantly pondering about all sorts of stuff and I need to vent it somewhere to keep my mind clear and sane. So you can look forward to stuff about programming, discussion about my creative outbursts, insight into the mind of a man thiking out-of-the-box, philosophical topics and deep thought stuff.

When I say that I consider myself open minded, I mean it in every sense possible. I am trying very hard to think about everything deeply and objectively, even scientifically when possible. I am trying to gain experience from EVERY possible pathway of life, and learn every interesting skill or obtain traits that are not common in society when given opportunity. I feel like life is most interesting when you learn actively, and the more I learn the more I enjoy learning new stuff. It's not only about the mental capability, it's about physical aswell. I can learn to work with a new programming language with same efficiency as learning how to work with some kind of tool or operating some kind of machine. And it's all about just learning how to learn and enjoying learning.

The label "ffredyk's Place" is accompanies me through my whole life. My game server, my blogs, my stories, my in-game maps, my personal lairs to invite people to - everything was labelled a "ffredyk's Place". This time it won't be any different! Let me welcome you to my ffredyk's Place once again! I hope that my content will teach you new stuff, keep you entertained and occasionaly makes you laugh.

Let's see how this evolves and in what state we find ourselves next year at the same date as today!
